Our Objectives

The main objective of the German Advisory Group on Economic Reforms is the continuous support and monitoring of the reform process in Ukraine. By contributing to an improvement of the economic framework and to the further integration of Ukraine into the world economy a basis for sustainable development is being laid.

The German Advisory Group is dedicated to this objective since its founding in 1994. The members of our group analyse current economic policy problems and present concrete and independent recommendations to high-ranking decision makers within the Ukrainian government. The German Advisory Group is in close dialogue with other international organizations like the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Furthermore, the German Advisory Group supports the German government, German companies and other German organizations by providing know-how and detailed information on the economic situation in Ukraine.
