Discussion with the German-Ukrainian Parliamentary GroupOn 15 December 2016 Ricardo Giucci, Leader of the German Advisory Group Ukraine, held a presentation about the economic situation in Ukraine to representatives of the German Bundestag. Among them were Karl-Georg Wellmann, Chairman of the German-Ukrainian Parliamentary Group, Norbert Spinrath and Susanna Karawanskij, both Vice Chairmen of the Parliamentary Group. Mr Giucci showed that the most important macroeconomic indicators reflect the stabilisation of the Ukrainian economy: GDP increased slightly this year and especially the increase in investment in the first six months of 2016 is a positive signal. The one-digit inflation rate and the positive development of imports prove the economic recovery of Ukraine. The discussion with the Parliamentary Group was held on the occasion of the 18th general meeting of the German-Ukrainian Forum.
