Meeting with Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Anatoliy Olefirov

The main focus at the meeting was made on discussing the economic reforms of the new Government of Ukraine in light of the financial and economic situation and the present challenges for the national security of Ukraine, in particular in the context of the relations with the Russian Federation.

The counterparts have positively assessed the progress achieved by Ukraine in the European integration, particularly the signing of the political part of the Association Agreement with the European Union on March 21 and coordinated steps on implementation by the European Union of the provisions concerning establishing the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area.
