Conference on Financing Opportunities

On March 20, 2018 the conference “Financing opportunities in Ukraine – Quo Vadis?” took place in Berlin. The event was organised by the German-Ukrainian Forum in cooperation with the German Advisory Group Ukraine, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany.

It was part of the program of the “Ukrainian Week”, a joint initiative to create “Insights into the present and future of Ukraine”.

The vice-manager of the German Advisory Group Ukraine, Robert Kirchner, moderatet the panel discussion on the topic of financing opportunities. The experts from Germany and Ukraine discussed the current state of affairs and strategies to further develop the banking- and finance sectors in Ukraine. Among the guests were high-ranking representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Euler Hermes, Commerzbank, KfW and ProCredit Bank.
